LA PAZ, Bolivia, July 24 (NNN-PRENSA LATINA) – Bolivian President, Evo Morales, met with Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, in the city of Santa Cruz, to strengthen diplomatic, cooperation and trade ties between the two countries.
“We talked about implementing a nanotechnology laboratory and a medicine factory. They also showed interest in importing Bolivian products. We are expanding our markets,” the President wrote in Twitter.
The meeting addressed issues, such as bilateral interest in advancing the implementation of a nanotechnology laboratory and the creation of a master’s degree in this field, at the Military Engineering University (Escuela), reported the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Diego Pary.
On the other hand, commercial aspects, such as the opening of markets for Bolivian products, and the dairy factories in the country, implemented with Iranian technology, were addressed.
“It is a priority of our state to also strengthen our economy, development and exports, which is a very important part of all international policy,” explained the authority.
According to him, at the multilateral level, it was agreed to continue with the work in different international scenarios and to advance, so that both countries have an important presence in world forums.– NNN-PRENSA LATINA
