BEIRUT, Lebanon, July 23 (NNN-NNA) – Greek musician, Yiannis Chryssomallis, or Yanni, said here on Monday, that he aims at conveying a message of peace and tolerance, by playing music on Tuesday (today) in Beirut.
“As we can see, the whole world is tense, so we are going to tell the world, to just calm down, accept and tolerate one another. This will be a simple and powerful message,” he said.
Yanni believes that music has “a very powerful impact.”
“We do not listen to music only when we are happy. Music also has the capability of healing people,” he said.
The musician added that, he knows hundreds of people who use his music, to help them through different tough situations, like fighting against diseases.
