Iran’s Army Vows To Protect North-Eastern Borders With New Drones

TEHRAN, Iran, July 18 (NNN-IRNA) – The Iranian Army Ground Force, received advanced drones for combat and reconnaissance missions, along the country’s north-eastern border.

The Mohajer-6 drones will boost the Army Ground Force’s capabilities for border protection, according to Tasnim news agency.

The newest generation of Mohajer drones, with length of 5.67 metres and flying range of 2,000 kilometres, has a flight endurance of 24 hours, and is equipped with two smart Qaem bombs with pinpoint accuracy.

The Qaem bomb, with thermal and optical detectors, has an operational range of six kilometres and its warhead weighs 1.7 kilograms.

The Mohajer-6 drone has a service ceiling of 18,000 feet and flies at a maximum speed of 200 km/h.– NNN-IRNA
