RIYADH, Saudi Arabia, July 15 (NNN-SPA) – Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), sent more than 50,000 tonnes of agricultural nutrients to Sudan.

The urgent aid aims to safeguard the agricultural season in Sudan, especially that many Sudanese depend on the sector for their livelihoods.

The nutrients were sent in a ship that sailed from Al Jubail Industrial Port, in Saudi Arabia to Sudan.

The assistance is part of the three-billion-U.S.-dollar financial support, allocated by both countries, including 500 million U.S. dollars, as a deposit at the central bank, to support the country’s economy that suffers, because of the political unrest.– NNN-SPA
