YANGON, Myanmar, July 14 (NNN-MNA) – One missing school girl out of four, has been found dead, after a boat capsized in central Myanmar’s Magway region, local township police said today (Sunday).
The victim was discovered near Kinponkai village in Mindon township, Saturday, after the boat met with the tragedy on Friday.
Search for the remaining three girls are underway by the police, in cooperation with fire fighters and local residents.
The boat carrying 18 passengers, from Paukkaing village, capsized at the convergence of Mindon Creek and Mu Creek, on Friday afternoon.
The local township police have filed charges against the boat driver.– NNN-MNA
