BEIRUT, Lebanon, July 13 (NNN-NNA) – The Lebanese army received, on Friday, 15 DAF military trucks, from authorities of the Netherlands.
The Lebanese army received the donation through the Port of Beirut.
The last military donation offered to Lebanon was from France, two months ago.
On May 12, the Lebanese army received from France, armoured personnel carriers, labelled VAB Hot Mephisto, and boxes containing spare parts for the carriers.
However, the biggest contributor of military equipment to the Lebanese army is the United States.
The Lebanese army received a total of 1.5 billion U.S. dollars in military aid, from successive U.S. administrations, since the war with Israel in 2006.– NNN-NNA
