Iranian, Lebanese Hospitals Sign Cooperation Agreement

BEIRUT, Lebanon, July 6 (NNN-NNA) – Hospitals from Iran and Lebanon, signed an agreement of cooperation on Friday, to boost exchanges in medical and technical fields.

“Iran is looking forward to increasing its cooperation with Lebanon, in the medical field, particularly, and in several other areas as well,” Ahmad Al-Husseini, first secretary of the Iranian Embassy in Lebanon, was quoted as saying, by Elnashra, an online independent newspaper.

Husseini said that, Lebanon’s Sheikh Ragheb Harb hospital and Iran’s Imam Khomeini Hospital Centre, signed this agreement to benefit citizens of both countries.

He also highlighted the political support offered by Iran, to Lebanon’s resistance, facing Israel.– NNN-NNA
