PENANG and KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, July 5 (Bernama-PRNewswire) —Taiwan Expo 2019 is finally unveiled today at Setia SPICE Convention Centre in Penang. The long-anticipated expo is showcasing products from 140 Taiwanese manufacturers across 110 booths, providing visitors the opportunity to learn about Taiwan’s internationally renowned smart city technologies, Industry 4.0, green technology, medical care, trending lifestyle products, tourism, bubble tea as well as a special Halal Taiwan Pavilion. Mr. James C.F. Huang, Chairman of TAITRA, presided over the opening ceremony together with guests of honour Penang’s Chief Minister YAB Mr. Chow Kon Yeow and the Representative of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Malaysia H.E. Ms. Anne Hung. According to Mr. James Huang, this is the third consecutive year that the Taiwan Expo is held in Malaysia and the first time in Penang.
