BEIRUT, Lebanon, July 4 (NNN-NNA) – Lebanon and Poland inaugurated Wednesday, the first direct flight between Beirut and Warsaw, Elnashra, an online independent newspaper, reported.
“The aim of this initiative is to enhance ties between the two countries, in addition to encouraging religious and cultural tourism in Lebanon and Poland,” Jamil Bayram, head of the board of directors at Samana travel agency, said, during the opening ceremony in Beirut.
Samana started this initiative with LOT Polish Airlines, which will give Lebanese and Polish citizens the chance to visit tourist attractions in the two countries.
Polish Ambassador to Lebanon, Przemyslaw Niesiolowski, said, he hopes that this new step contributes to enhancing ties between the two countries on all levels.– NNN-NNA
