DAMASCUS, Syria, July 4 (NNN-SANA) – At least four people were killed, on Wednesday, by an explosion, in Syria’s southern province of Sweida.
The explosion was caused by a booby-trapped motorcycle, that went off in Qanawat Street, in Sweida.
An unidentified number of people were also wounded.
Meanwhile, a medical source said that, the bodies of the four slain people and the wounded were taken to the national hospital in the city.
It’s worth noting that Qanawat Street is a main street in Sweida and is usually crowded.
Sweida city has relatively remained calm, during the eight-year-long war, except for its countryside, where the Daesh repeatedly attacked.
A few explosions had also taken place, in the predominantly Druze area.
Previous explosions had been claimed by Daesh, but the circumstances surrounding the latest explosion are still unclear.– NNN-SANA
