BAGHDAD, Iraq, July 3 (NNN-NINA) – Iraqi Prime Minister, Adel Abdul Mahdi, said on Tuesday that, the oil companies in his country are operating in a safe and stable environment, despite recent attacks on oil facilities.
“There has been no serious security breach that could hamper the work of these companies,” Mahdi told a press conference, after a weekly cabinet meeting.
On June 19, a Katyusha rocket landed on a headquarters of the Iraqi Oil Drilling Company, near a site hosting several international oil companies, including the U.S. ExxonMobil, in the west of the city of Basra.– NNN-NINA
