BEIRUT, Lebanon, June 30 (NNN-NNA) – Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon, Walid Al-Bukhari, said on Saturday, that, Saudi Arabia is keen to communicate with all Lebanese, through the Jusoor Initiative.
The Jusoor initiative paves the way to consolidate Saudi-Lebanese relations and achieve a “common understanding” of the two nations.
“We assure that the kingdom aims at preserving Lebanon’s stability, security and prosperity, and we hope that the country protects its institutions to safeguard its citizens,” Al-Bukhari was quoted as saying, during his visit to Byblos.
Al-Bukhari’s visit aims to look at historical monuments in the city.
“We are also looking forward to creating cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the municipality of Byblos city,” he said, hoping, the city will attract a big number of Saudi tourists this season.– NNN-NNA
