PARIS, June 24 (NNN) — The just concluded Paris Air Show, the world’s largest air show and aerospace-industry exhibition event, is reported to have raked in billions of dollars in conventional plane sales, while the world’s first electric commercial planes also made their sales.

Held at the Paris Airport-Le Bourget, the big-time aerospace event saw the mammoth display of the latest technologies as well as innovations in the industry, attracting thousands of industry players and participants from various parts of the world.

Apart from innovations aimed at reducing the fuel emissions by planes, a key highlight of the event was the Israeli-made electric aircraft, Alice.
