TEHRAN, Iran, June 22 (NNN-TASNIM) – Iran’s state TV, on Friday, showed images of the wreckage of the U.S. navy drone, downed by Iran a day earlier.
The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) denied U.S. claims that, its unmanned aircraft “was flying over international waters when it was shot,” according to state TV.
The IRGC downed the U.S. drone on Thursday, saying that, the aircraft had violated Iran’s airspace.
According to the report, the IRGC issued “numerous” warnings, before shooting down the unmanned aircraft.– NNN-TASNIM
