KUALA LUMPUR, June 21 (Bernama) — The Malaysian National News Agency (BERNAMA) today announced the appointment of Datuk Mokhtar Hussain, 58, as Acting Editor-in-Chief effective 24 June 2019. He succeeds Datuk Zakaria Abdul Wahab, 62, who completes his contract as BERNAMA’s Editor-in-Chief on 22 June 2019.
BERNAMA expresses its sincere appreciation and gratitude to Datuk Zakaria for his long years of service, including the past five years as Editor-in-Chief.
