Motorcycle Crash Killed Two In W. Afghanistan

KABUL, Mar 10 (NNN-BNA) – At least two people lost their lives and two others sustained injuries, in a motorcycle crash in western Afghanistan’s Ghor province, the state-run Bakhtar news agency reported, yesterday.

The accident occurred in Firoz Koah city, the capital of the province, leaving two dead on the spot and two others injured. The injured were receiving treatment at a health centre.

Fatal road accidents are common in Afghanistan, due to poor road conditions, reckless driving, rugged terrains, overloading and lack of traffic signs on dilapidated highways.– NNN-BNA
