Vietnam’s Top Leader Began State Visit To Indonesia

JAKARTA, Mar 10 (NNN-ANTARA) – General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee, To Lam, arrived in Indonesia yesterday, to begin a three-day state visit, aimed at strengthening bilateral relations.

The visit, which will last until tomorrow, was made at the invitation of Indonesian President, Prabowo Subianto, and coincides with the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Indonesia and Vietnam.

To Lam landed at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport in Jakarta at approximately 1:15 p.m., where he was welcomed by Indonesia’s Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, Sakti Wahyu Trenggono and Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung.

Today, To Lam is scheduled to meet with Prabowo, to discuss potential cooperation opportunities, that could further elevate bilateral relations.– NNN-ANTARA
