BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Mar 7 (NNN-ANN) – Brunei recorded an increase in foreign workers with 75,402 foreign workers recorded in 2023, compared to 65,714 in 2022, local media reported yesterday, citing a government minister.
Haji Ahmaddin Haji Abdul Rahman, minister of home affairs, said at the legislative council meeting on Wednesday that, the increase reflects the country’s economic growth in various sectors and industries.
Brunei is an oil-rich country located in the northern part of the Borneo Island, with a population of approximately 340,000 citizens and a high level of social welfare.– NNN-ANN
