TALUQAN, Afghanistan, Mar 6 (NNN-BNA) – Police have uncovered arms and military equipment, from northern Afghanistan’s Takhar province, according to a news release from the provincial police office today.
The armaments, which include eight pieces of assault rifle Kalashnikov, six pistols, a machine gun, hundreds of projectiles and hand grenades, were found during a series of operations yesterday, the news release asserted.
In identical operations, police discovered military equipment, including AK-47s and pistols, from the Siagurd district of the eastern Parwan province on Tuesday.– NNN-BNA
