Zanzibar unveils bid to attract tourists from Asia

ZANZIBAR, March 2 (NNN-DAILYNEWS) — THE President of Zanzibar and Chairman of the Revolutionary Council, Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi, has stated that Zanzibar is making every effort to increase the number of tourists from Asia.

Dr Mwinyi made these remarks while speaking with actors and filmmakers from India who visited the Zanzibar State House.

He emphasized that Zanzibar is ready to collaborate with India in promoting its tourism attractions and urged the visitors to serve as good ambassadors for Zanzibar when they return to their country.

Dr. Mwinyi highlighted that the experience and expertise of Indian actors and filmmakers present a valuable opportunity to market Zanzibar and attract more tourists from India.

He also commended them for visiting Zanzibar, affirming that the government is fully prepared to cooperate with them in promoting the island’s tourism sector.

Meanwhile, the head of the Indian delegation from Jio Creative Labs, Aditya Bhat, said their visit has opened doors for collaboration, and they are ready to showcase Zanzibar’s tourist attractions in India through their work. — NNN-DAILYNEWS
