ALMATY, Feb 26 (NNN-KTA) – Kazakh President, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, and Russian Deputy Prime Minister, Alexander Novak, discussed further strengthening bilateral trade and economic cooperation during their meeting, according to a statement from the Kazakh presidential press service, yesterday.
“President Tokayev emphasised that, Kazakhstan-Russia relations are developing dynamically in a spirit of friendship, good neighbourliness, and alliance,” the statement said.
Novak conveyed greetings from Russian President, Vladimir Putin, to Tokayev, highlighting the high level of dialogue and cooperation between the two countries.
During the visit, issues of cooperation in the energy sector were also discussed.– NNN-KTA
