Illegal Migration Channel Shut Down In Southern Kazakhstan

ALMATY, Feb 25 (NNN-KTA) – A group of individuals, suspected of organising illegal migration, has been apprehended in the Kyzylorda region, and the city of Baikonur, in southern Kazakhstan, said the press service of the Kazakh National Security Committee, yesterday.

According to preliminary data, the perpetrators unlawfully issued over 80 temporary residence permits in Kazakhstan, for citizens of neighbouring countries.

Material evidence was seized during the searches, and a pre-trial investigation is currently underway.– NNN-KTA
