KUALA LUMPUR, June 20 (NNN- Bernama) — Hollywood film and TV director Bobby Roth will be in the city to conduct a five-day film masterclass from June 28 until July 2.
The course titled “A Director Prepares: Bobby Roth’s 5-Day Film Making Masterclass” is organised by EDUAssist Foundation in collaboration with Asia Metropolitan University.
“This is a once in a lifetime opportunity that filmmakers and film professionals in Malaysia should not miss. It is an event where they can learn the finer points of film making and hands-on knowledge on how world-class TV and films are made,” said the organiser in a statement tonight.
Participants of the masterclass will be awarded an Industrial Diploma In Film Directing endorsed by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency.
The award-winning filmmaker has directed a number of highly rated TV series and films in his more than 30 years career in Hollywood.
The television series that Roth had worked on include Miami Vice, Beverly Hills 90210, Hawaii 5-0, Prison Break and Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. His films have won countless awards and been exhibited in over 100 international film festivals.
He also teaches seminars throughout the world and is the recipient of the 2017 Miami Web Fest Lifetime Achievement Award.
