BEIRUT, Lebanon, June 20 (NNN-NNA) – Lebanon’s Parliamentary Friendship Committee and the Saudi Shura Council, emphasised the need to cooperate, to maintain peace and stability in Arab countries.
“It is important to work on maintaining the internal unity of Arab countries, while preventing any wars and divisions,” a statement issued, after the meeting of the two delegations, said.
According to the statement, the two delegations agreed to cooperate to fight against terrorism.
“Saudi Arabia and Lebanon also vowed to increase cooperation between the two countries on all levels,” it added.
A Saudi Shura Council delegation, headed by Saleh Bin Manih Al Khalyawi, arrived in Lebanon on Tuesday, to hold discussions with Lebanese officials on ways to boost ties between the two countries.– NNN-NNA
