MAIMANA, Afghanistan, Feb 16 (NNN-BNA) – Fifteen commuters were injured, with some in critical condition, as a mini-bus turned turtle, in northern Afghanistan’s Faryab province, on Friday night, a statement by the provincial police said, yesterday.
According to the statement, the ill-fated minibus was heading from Faryab to the western Herat province, when the incident happened. Reckless driving was blamed for the mishap.
It added that, women and children were among the injured.
A similar accident claimed four lives and injured 10 travellers in the eastern Wardak province on Thursday night.– NNN-BNA
