JAKARTA, Feb 16 (NNN-ANTARA) – Indonesian President, Prabowo Subianto, said yesterday that, the country would undertake 15 downstream megaprojects this year, as part of his priority programme.
“We will continue and realise our downstreaming efforts. This year, at least 15 megaprojects worth billions of dollars will be launched,” Prabowo said, during the 17th anniversary celebration of the Great Indonesia Movement Party, at the Sentul International Convention Centre in Bogor, West Java province.
He emphasised that, the downstream programme aims to optimise Indonesia’s natural resources, to enhance the welfare of its people. To achieve these goals, he noted that, the government is open to investors from various sectors to contribute.– NNN-ANTARA
