KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 10 (Bernama) — CIMB Group Holdings Berhad (“CIMB” or “the Group”) reaffirms its strong sense of purpose in advancing customers and society through the adoption initiative, Program Satu Pemimpin Satu Kampung (Santuni MADANI) (“the Programme”) across four Projek Perumahan Rakyat (“PPR”) located in Klang Valley, namely Bukit Jalil, Lembah Subang, Perumahan Awam Seri Selangor, and Seri Alam. Under the Programme, CIMB has pledged RM3.6 million over two years, to drive long-term, positive impact on the lives of approximately 9,000 PPR residents by strengthening capacity building, offering upskilling opportunities, enabling access to quality education, and fostering sustainable livelihoods.
Santuni MADANI is a Government initiative that brings together leaders from across Federal Ministries, Agencies, Departments, Statutory Bodies, Government-Linked Investment Companies (“GLICs”) and Government-Linked Companies (“GLCs”), to bridge socioeconomic gaps amongst the underserved communities.
