HAVANA, Feb 4 (NNN-ACN) — The 3rd International Transport and Logistics Fair (FITL 2025) will be held April 1-3 at the Pabexpo exhibition center in Havana, with the participation of the main national and foreign actors in the sector.
At the official presentation of the event to representatives of the diplomatic corps and the press, in the Taganana Room of the Hotel Nacional, Marcos Bermudez de la Torre, Vice Minister of Transportation, said that the event will allow consolidating existing projects or those under negotiation, and identifying new business opportunities in the branches of the sector.
Themes of the event will include, among others, sustainable mobility of passengers and cargo, modernization of means of transport and infrastructure, energy transition in the sector, commercialization, repair and manufacture of equipment, parts, pieces and aggregates, and productive linkages.
The vice minister specified that the aims of FITL 2025 are to encourage the development of the different actors of the economy and domestic trade, promote foreign investment, foster international cooperation, and attract financing for infrastructure development.
The traditional event is also intended to upgrade the national industry, boost and diversify exports, promote import substitution, expand the supply networks of spare parts and materials, improve the country’s logistics performance and share experiences in these fields. — NNN-ACN
