India’s Exports Rose To Record High Of 778.21 Billion USD In FY 2023-24

NEW DELHI, Feb 2 (NNN-PTI) – The Indian government, yesterday said, the country’s exports have seen a historic rise by reaching 778.21 billion U.S. dollars in Fiscal Year 2023-24 (Apr to Mar).

According to the federal ministry of commerce and industry, this marks a 67 percent increase from 466.22 billion dollars in FY 2013-14.

The ministry said, key sectors that played a vital role in this surge include electronics, pharmaceuticals, engineering goods, iron ore, and textiles.

“The momentum has continued into FY 2024-25, with cumulative exports during Apr-Dec, 2024, estimated at 602.64 billion dollars, a 6.03 percent increase from 568.36 billion dollars in the same period of 2023,” the ministry said.– NNN-PTI
