MANILA, Feb 2 (NNN-PNA) – A helicopter crashed yesterday afternoon, in the Philippines’ Nueva Ecija province, north of Manila, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) confirmed.
Local police and rescuers recovered the remains of one pilot, who was identified as a 25-year-old female.
The victim was reported to be alone inside the helicopter.
In a press release, the CAAP said, it is investigating the crash in coordination with local authorities, after receiving multiple emergency alerts.
The cause of the incident remains to be determined.– NNN-PNA
