In the Year of the Wood Snake, fromJanuary 13 to February 2, 2025, Traveloka presents the Blessing Good Deals campaign with offers and discounts of up to 68% on hotels, attractions, flights, and cruises, making this season’s celebrations more rewarding.
Traveloka’s internal findings show positive growth of flight and accommodation searches two weeks before the Lunar New Year period, for January 20 to February 2, 2025 compared to the Lunar New Year period last year. Flight searches during the season saw a two-fold increase for all countries, with Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta and Medan becoming the most searched destinations in Malaysia. For accommodations, hotels were the most searched type by Malaysians, accounting for over 70% of the preferences, followed by apartments and resorts.
