KABUL, Jan 6 (NNN-BNA) – Afghan authorities seized 811,900 stimulant tablets and 32 kg of ICE (methamphetamine), in western Afghanistan’s Nimroz province, the office of Deputy Minister of Interior for Counter-Narcotics said in a statement, yesterday.
Acting on a tip-off, counter-narcotic police found the stimulant tablets in Zaranj city, the capital of the province, and arrested a suspect in connection with the case, the statement said.
Meanwhile, police searched a vehicle in Zaranj city on Saturday, seizing 32 kg of methamphetamine and apprehending one suspect, it said.– NNN=BNA
