BANGKOK, Jan 2 (NNN-TNA) – Five people were killed and 33 others injured, after a tour bus lost control and crashed into trees, in southern Thailand late yesterday.
The bus, with 38 people on board, was travelling back from the southern province of Yala, when the accident occurred, near an intersection in the Chaiya district of Surat Thani province, according to a local public relations office.
The five deceased were killed at the scene of the accident. The injured, including three in serious condition, were rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment.
