MALÉ, Dec 27 (NNN-PSM) – The Maldivian government plans to increase tourism revenue to five billion U.S. dollars in 2025, it was reported yesterday, quoting Minister of Tourism, Ibrahim Faisal.
The minister told a ceremony held yesterday morning that, the country has seen two million tourists in 2024.
In 2025, tourism revenue will increase to around five billion dollars, Faisal said, adding that, to achieve the goal, the administration is working to complete the construction of the new passenger terminal, at Velana International Airport by next year.– NNN-PSM
