5.7-Magnitude Quake Hits Southeast Of Honshu, Japan

NEW YORK, Dec 27 (NNN-XINHUA) – An earthquake, with a magnitude of 5.7, jolted south-east of Honshu, Japan, at 21:02:25 GMT yesterday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The epicentre, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 30.52 degrees north latitude, and 142.22 degrees east longitude.– NNN-XINHUA
