MUSCAT, Oman, June 15 (NNN-ONA) – Oman denied, on Friday, that the two oil tankers that were hit near its territorial waters, on Thursday, had exploded.
In response to the distress calls from the two ships, one carrying the Panama’s flag and the other with the flag of the Marshall Islands, Oman sent two rescue vessels to the scene, Oman’s Maritime Security Centre said, in a statement.
The specific location of the incidents have not been announced yet, the statement added.– NNN-ONA
