BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Dec 6 (NNN-ANN) – Brunei’s Labour Department, inspected a private education provider, local media reported, yesterday.
According to local daily, Borneo Bulletin, inspectors found that eight local employees could not provide written contracts, while a foreign worker, who was employed as a teacher, was performing administrative duties.
The department urged all employers to prioritise the well-being of their employees, and to comply with the provisions of the Employment Order of Brunei, said the report.– NNN-ANN
