5.8-Magnitude Quake Hits Western Iran

BEIJING, Dec 5 (NNN-XINHUA) – An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8, jolted Western Iran, at 0402 GMT, this morning, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The epicentre, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 31.63 degrees north latitude, and 49.50 degrees east longitude.– NNN-XINHUA
