JAKARTA, Nov 24 (NNN-ANTARA) – Six people were killed and seven others injured, after landslides and flash floods hit Indonesia’s North Sumatra province yesterday, according to a rescuer.
Head of the Operational Unit of the Provincial Search and Rescue Office, Kamellia, said that, the natural disasters occurred in two regencies. The landslides struck Padang Lawas regency, at 1:00 a.m. local time, resulting in four deaths and four injuries.
Flash floods hit South Tapanuli regency at 1:30 a.m. local time, killing two residents and injuring three others.– NNN-ANTARA
