TASHKENT, Nov 7 (NNN-UzA) – A boulder fell onto a vehicle, in the Kashkadarya region of Uzbekistan, causing three deaths, local media reported, yesterday.
The incident occurred yesterday, on the 1,138th kilometre of the M-39 highway, which runs through the Kitob district of Kashkadarya region. All the three people in the vehicle, lost their lives.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Road Safety Service reported that, the accident occurred due to heavy rainfall, which caused mountainous rocks to become saturated and unstable. Consequently, a boulder descended from the slope and struck the vehicle, parked on the roadside, resulting in its destruction.– NNN-UzA
