JAKARTA, Oct 13 (NNN-ANTARA) – Indonesia recorded 22.73 billion U.S. dollars in deals, at Southeast Asia’s largest trade exhibition, Trade Expo Indonesia, in Tangerang, on Oct 9-12.
The figure included 19.69 billion dollars in goods and services transactions, and 3.04 billion dollars in investment transactions.
“This figure exceeds our target and the achievement of last year, which was 15 billion U.S. dollars,” Trade Minister, Zulkifli Hasan, said yesterday.
A total of 1,460 exhibitors in the fields of food, beverage, and agricultural products, manufacturing goods, as well as, home living, fashion, and services participated in the event.
India contributed the largest share of transactions, totaling 7.46 billion dollars, followed by Vietnam with 3.67 billion dollars and the Netherlands with 2.76 billion dollars.– NNN-ANTARA
