YANGON, Oct 11 (NNN-MNA) – A 5.3-magnitude earthquake, jolted central Myanmar at about 11:10 a.m. local time today, the country’s Department of Meteorology and Hydrology (DMH) reported.
According to the DMH, the epicentre was determined to be eight km to the south-west of Thabeikkyin town, in Mandalay Region.
The earthquake, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 22.85 degrees north latitude, and 95.91 degrees east longitude, the DMH said.– NNN-MNA
