TASHKENT, Oct 9 (NNN-UzA) – Uzbekistan exported apricots worth 62.3 million U.S. dollars, in the fist eight months of this year, local media reported yesterday, citing the state’s statistics agency.
Uzbekistan exported 64,800 tonnes of apricots from Jan to Aug this year, marking an increase of 21.6 million U.S. dollars and 15,000 tonnes, compared to the same period last year.
In the eight months, Uzbekistan’s largest apricot export destination was Russia, with a total of 51,500 tonnes.– NNN-UzA
