Philippines, S. Korea Ink MoU To Strengthen Energy Cooperation

MANILA, Oct 7 (NNN-PNA) – The Philippines and South Korea, today signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU), on energy cooperation, paving the way for collaboration to conduct a comprehensive technical and economic feasibility study, on the potential rehabilitation of the Bataan Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP).

Philippine President, Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos, and South Korean President, Yoon Suk-yeol, witnessed the signing of the MoU on cooperation in the field of energy, between the Philippine Department of Energy (DOE), and Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. (KHNP).

Yoon is in Manila for a two-day state visit.– NNN-PNA
