Three Killed In South Korea’s Arson Attack

SEOUL, Sept 21 (NNN-YONHAP) – Three men were killed, in what is believed to be an arson attack, at an inn in South Korea’s North Chungcheong province.

A fire broke out at the inn at about 1:44 a.m. local time (1644 GMT Friday), killing three men, presumed to be long-term guests. The fire was extinguished in about an hour.

The three men were found in a room and a corridor on the second floor, and a room on the third floor.

Evidence was found that someone used a newspaper to light it on the entrance and the stairs.

The police were investigating a man in his 40’s, who had stayed at the inn, as a suspect.– NNN-YONHAP
