TASHKENT, Sept 20 (NNN-UzA) – The 4th World Conference on Creative Economy (WCCE), will be held in Tashkent on Oct 2-4, Uzbek media reported, yesterday.
Titled “Inclusive Creativity: A Shifted Reality,” this year’s event will explore the social and economic challenges posed by the rapidly advancing technologies, with a particular focus on the rise of artificial intelligence.
It is worth noting that, Uzbekistan is the first country in Central Asia to host the conference on creative economy, according to media reports.
The conference is organised by Art and Culture Development Foundation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia, United Nations Trade and Development, World Intellectual Property Organisation, with the British Council as knowledge partner.
The event will be attended by more than 2,000 representatives of the world of culture and art, leaders, artistes, innovators, politicians and entrepreneurs from more than 80 countries.
The report said that, the conference will include a number of events, including a ministerial meeting, an exhibition on creative economy, seminars, workshops, presentations and others.
The first World Conference on Creative Economy was held in 2018, in Bali.– NNN-UzA
