Ukraine Plans To Export 43 Million Tonnes Of Grain In 2024-2025

KIEV, Sept 13 (NNN-UNIAN) – Ukraine has the potential to export 43 million tonnes of grain in the 2024-2025 marketing year, the Interfax-Ukraine news agency reported, yesterday, citing Agrarian Policy and Food Minister, Vitaliy Koval.

In particular, Ukraine is expected to supply 25 million tonnes of corn and 16.2 million tonnes of wheat overseas, Koval said.

“It is very important to ensure that foreign markets receive Ukrainian products. And not only agricultural raw products, but goods with added value, processed products,” he noted.

In the 2023-2024 marketing year, which ended on Jun 30, Ukraine exported more than 50 million tonnes of grain, including 29.3 million tonnes of corn and 18.4 million tonnes of wheat.– NNN-UNIAN
