TIANJIN, China, Sept 6 ( Bernama-AsiaNet) — Tianjin Binhai High-tech Industrial Development Area (thereafter referred to as “Tianjin High-tech Area”) was established in 1988 with the approval of the Tianjin Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Tianjin Municipal People’s Government. It was approved by the State Council as one of the first national high-tech industrial development areas in 1991, and was nodded to set up a national independent innovation demonstration zone in 2014.
Currently, a high-end industrial system called “113X” has been formed, with the new generation information technology industry as the leading sector, and supported by the new economy services, biopharmaceuticals, new energy, and high-end equipment manufacturing sectors.
