Kyrgyzstan To Host CSTO Command And Staff Exercises

BISHKEK, Aug 31 (NNN-KNA) – “Interaction-2024” – the command and staff exercises with the Collective Rapid Reaction Forces of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO) – will be held in Kyrgyzstan next month, the country’s Defence Ministry said yesterday.

On Thursday, Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff, Andrei Serdyukov, briefed the participants on the developing situation in the regions of the CSTO, and a set of events planned for the current year, the goals and objectives of the exercises, as well as, the involved forces and means.

The “Interaction-2024” exercises aim to practice using forces and means to resolve a crisis, according to Serdyukov.

CSTO members are Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan.– NNN-KNA
