Pakistan’s Foreign Exchange Reserves Up 112 Million USD

ISLAMABAD, Aug 30 (NNN-APP) – The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), said yesterday that, its foreign exchange reserves had increased by 112 million U.S. dollars.

During the week ending on Aug 23, the total foreign exchange reserves of the bank reached around 9.4 billion U.S. dollars, the central bank said in a statement.

Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks came at around 5.4 billion dollars, it added.

Total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at about 14.8 billion U.S. dollars, according to the SBP.– NNN-APP
